Church to hold free giveaway, career fair

Brunswick Church of Christ, 505 Milltown Road, North Brunswick, will hold a free giveaway 11 a.m.-2 p.m. July 11 at North Brunswick Senior Center, 15 Linwood Place. The giveaway is the church's way of giving back to the community. Items include housewares, clothing and other items.

Item donations may be made 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. July 5 at Livingston Park Elementary School, 1128 Livingston Ave., North Brunswick; and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. July 7 and 9 at the church. For item pick up, call Laura at 732-421-4992 or email hirelaura@yahoo.com.

A free career coaching fair will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. July 18 at the senior center. Featured will be 10-minute workshops on topics such as résumés, interviewing and job search skills. There will also be coaching on job research, and critiquing of résumés and cover letters. Child care will be offered free-of-charge.
