      Erin Dunne began playing lacrosse during the fifth grade, inspired by her brother who also played. She joined a club team in seventh grade, playing in tournaments and in showcases, since there was no team established at the time at Linwood Middle School.

      The third annual Bocce Invitational Tournament will be held 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Colonial Park, Mettlers Road, in Somerset, June 20. Hundreds of amateur and professional bocce players are expected to compete in the daylong event that features matches in both amateur and professional categories.
