NCADD's 'Pedaling for Prevention' Oct. 18

The Coalition for Healthy Communities, an initiative of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence of Middlesex County Inc. (NCADD) will hold the fourth annual "Pedaling for Prevention," Oct. 18 at Grove 4, Johnson Park, Piscataway. Registration is 9:30 a.m., and activities 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (rain or shine).

The event will consist of a 50-mile bicycle ride through local neighborhoods and towns, a 20-mile bicycle ride through local neighborhoods in Piscataway, or a 5K fun ride or walk in Johnson Park. There will be bicycle maintenance checks, helmet fittings, free lunch and resource tables. All participants receive tickets for a silent auction that includes prizes and gift certificates.
