Figure skater ranks sixth at nationals

Lawrence Lung, a 12-year-old ice skater from North Brunswick, placed second in the qualifying round of the Junior National Competition in Lake Placid, New York, and placed sixth in the final round on Dec. 13. He is currently ranked sixth in the country. Lung will test up to the intermediate level in January and will begin preparing for the 2009-2010 season.
