Parking deck death ruled a suicide EAST BRUNSWICK — A 26-yearold South Brunswick man jumped to his death from a six-story structure recently. Police ruled out foul play in the death of Peter Farrell, who was found dead in an apparent suicide at the Nielson parking garage at Tower Center off Route 18 in East Brunswick at 1:32 p.m. Oct. 30. East Brunswick owns and operates the parking deck at Tower Center for commuters. The parking garage was reportedly the site of another similar suicide several years ago. East Brunswick Police Sgt. Paul Natalicchio said that a suicide note was found in Farrell's pocket. Farrell's body was found at the north corner of the building near the parking deck's exit and no one witnessed the incident, Natalicchio said. Police said Farrell died due to injuries that were consistent with a fall from the parking deck. He was pronounced dead at the scene. |
