Lack of patriotism appalls No. B'wick resident
Ihave been a resident of North Brunswick my entire life and my children attend elementary through the high school. Upon attending the open house for one of the elementary schools this week, I was thoroughly disgusted at the lack of respect for the Pledge of Allegiance and the Star Spangled Banner. I could not believe that people were not saying the words, did not hold their hand over their heart, looking around the room and checking their cell phones for messages. It was a slap in the face to all Americans. If this is taught to your children in school, do they say it? If this country is good enough for you to come here and live, then show some respect and say the pledge, or get out.
