Foreign films at SB Library in Oct., Nov.

The Autumn International Film Festival at South Brunswick Public Library will continue this fall. "This Is England" will be shown at 2 p.m. Oct. 5 and 7 p.m. Oct. 8. Directed and written by Shane Meadows, the 2007 film concerns a troubled young boy growing up in England in 1983. He meets a few skinheads on his way home from school one day but after a fight, they become his new best friends. "Two Days in Paris" will be shown 2 p.m. Nov. 9 and 7 p.m. Nov. 12. The story is about a young couple who try to rekindle their relationship with a visit to Paris, home of the female lead character's parents … and several exboyfriends. Children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a parent. Both movies are shown at the library on a large screen with English subtitles.
