Veronica Zawadsky

Mrs. Zawadsky, 87, of North Brunswick, died Aug. 10, 2008, at her daughter's home in Toano, Va. Born in Sayreville, she resided in Milltown before relocating to North Brunswick 50 years ago. She was a telephone operator at AT&T, where she was employed 30 years before her retirement. Mrs. Zawadsky was predeceased by her husband, James W. Zawadsky, in 1984. She is survived by a daughter and son-inlaw, Linda and John J. Rice of Toano, Va.; two brothers, Walter Dubil of Parlin and Michael Dubil of Sayreville; a sister, Florence Bistak of Spring Hill, Fla.; two grandsons; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Milltown, followed by burial at Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick.
