Friends thank supporters of book sale
It was a beautiful, sunny weekend for our "Hot-Booksin the-Summer-Sun Book Sale." That was quite appropriate. We thank all our visitors to our sale for their patronage. South Brunswick Public Library is truly the crossroads of our community. Friends and community members again joined hands in donating, publicizing, helping to bake, setting up, endlessly neatening, selling, purchasing, and breaking down before, during, and after our sale. The task has been once again tackled because of the assistance of the following individuals (please forgive us if your name was not provided to us):

Our "Fall Book Sale" will be held the weekend of Oct. 18-19. The "For Friends Only Set-Up Sale" will be held Oct. 17 at 5 p.m. Please call Susan at 732-329- 6688.

Please join us at our next meeting Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Don Taylor Quiet Study Lounge at our library.

Also, join us at our Daphne Powell Memorial Concert Oct. 26 at 2 p.m. Rosewood and Rhythm will entertain us with classical guitar, cello and drums. The program is suitable for all age groups. This program is made possible by special donations made in memory of our prior longtime membership chair. The program is free to the public (donations are always welcome to fund our next concert).
