D&R Canal State Park bike ride slated for July 25

Delaware & Raritan (D&R) Canal State Park will hold a bike tour 10 a.m. July 25. The tour begins at Kingston Canal House, Route 27, Kingston section of South Brunswick.

Cyclists will bike 10 miles to Griggstown, and back. The ride is free, and not recommended for children age 8 and younger. All children must be accompanied by an adult and wearing a helmet.

A walk of the Kingston Loop Trail will be 10 a.m. July 26 beginning at the park's Kingston office at 145 Mapleton Road. The free walk is approximately 3 ½ miles and leads through D&R State Park, Mapleton Preserve, Cook Natural Area, Middlesex County Open Space Park, and Heathcote Meadow Preserve. All ages are welcome.
