Catherine Atkinson Varick

Mrs. Varick, 83, of East Windsor, died June 22, 2008, in University Medical Center at Princeton. Prior to her retirement, she was employed with Block Drug, Dayton section of South Brunswick. Prior to that, she worked for E.R. Squibb and W.T. Grant, both North Brunswick. Her husband, Edward Varick Jr., died in 1992; a daughter, Peggy Inglis, died in 2006; and a son-in-law, Thomas Inglis, died in 1993. Surviving are a son, Edward Varick III, and his wife, Carolyn, of East Brunswick; a sister, Elizabeth "Bette" Ashworth of California; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
