Man injured in probable grease fire

NORTH BRUNSWICK - What was likely a grease fire on Adams Lane on Tuesday morning left one man injured.

At around 11:47 a.m., firefighters responded to a kitchen fire at 784 Adams Lane, according to Police Lt. Roger Reinson.

The victim said something was cooking on the stove, which investigators believe to be grease, and when he tried to dispose of it, he burned his hands and arms. He was transported to a local hospital to be treated, Reinson said.
