New baking, pastry arts program offered at college

Middlesex County College, Edison, has added a new certificate program in baking and pastry arts next fall.

The 18-credit offering consists of topics such as baking fundamentals, food service sanitation, professional pastry techniques, and decorating and specialty techniques. Students must also take an elective from the hotel, restaurant and institution management program.
