Wawa robbed early Tuesday morn.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK - The Wawa convenience store on Georges Road in Dayton was robbed by two armed men on Tuesday at 4:12 a.m., according to a police press release.

The two suspects entered the store and demanded that the employees lie on the floor. They then ordered them to open the safe and the register. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen before the suspects exited the store.

Both men were described as 6 feet tall, thinly built and dressed all in black, wearing gloves. Their faces were covered by black hooded sweatshirts and scarves. According to police, the suspects may have been driving a green or dark Toyota Camry. There were no injuries.

Anyone who was in the area at the time and can provide information should call South Brunswick Detective Jim Ryan at 732-329-4000, ext. 7448.
