Eagle Scout project to collect toiletries for kits

Timothy Monticchio, a Boy Scout in Troop 10, South Brunswick, has begun his Eagle Scout service project to benefit the South Brunswick Food Pantry. Collection boxes for deodorant, shampoo, bar soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes are at South Brunswick Senior Center, Ridge Road. Collections will also be 9 a.m.-2 p.m. June 28 Pierre's Deli, Georges Road, and noon- 3 p.m. June 29 at the senior center.

Monticchio will sort and package kits to be distributed by the food pantry with Thanksgiving food baskets. Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated. For more information, call 732-297-2038.
