Scouts to 'adopt' families of soldiers
It has been brought to my attention that at the end of this month, approximately 29 North Brunswick citizens are being called to duty in Iraq for one year. These are our neighbors, our families, our children. I would like to extend reassurance to the soldiers that the Girl Scouts and other local organizations will be "adopting" your families to provide support, join us for holidays and programs.

In addition, we will be adopting you and your unit.

As a community, we need to step up and help our families, especially the children- our children through this year.

Please tie a yellow ribbon around your tree until everyone returns home next year.
