SOUTH BRUNSWICK - Fourteen nighttime burglaries have been linked together by local authorities.

The South Brunswick Police Department along with the Princeton Township, Princeton Borough, Cranbury Township and Piscataway police departments as well as theMiddlesex County Prosecutor's Office, have discovered that the burglaries, which occurred between April 12 and May 29, are connected.

According to police, the robberies took place at night in houses that were occupied. There was no forced entry: the suspect made his way into the homes through a garage door or an unlocked slider. Usually, the suspect took electronics, purses and jewelry. Three times, the suspect stole the resident's car keys and their vehicles.

All of the robberies took place near major roadways: Route 27, Metals Lane and Route 130.

Police are asking anyone with additional information to call South Brunswick Detective Jim Ryan at 732- 329-4000, ext. 7448.
