Employees reported that Torres was in a locked stall, standing on the toilet next to an occupied stall. When he was spotted, he reportedly climbed through the ceiling. Eventually, he was talked into coming down.

Police said Torres had two outstanding warrants from Jamesburg and East Brunswick for unknown violations. After learning that Torres was allegedly in the United States illegally, Immigration Customs Enforcement issued a no-bail detainer and he was transported to the Middlesex CountyAdult Correction Center, North Brunswick.
