Rash of burglaries leads to teen's arrest

NORTH BRUNSWICK - A 15-yearold township resident was arrested around 9 a.m. May 22 for breaking into several homes in the Renaissance housing development over the past several weeks.

According to police Lt. Roger Reinson, surveillance was conducted in the area of Marc Drive and the teen was found to be in possession of a screwdriver and evidence from the burglaries. Additional evidence was also retrieved from his home.

The teen was charged with burglary and possession of burglary tools.

The investigation is ongoing, Reinson said.
