Raymond J. Criss

Mr. Criss, 84, of North Brunswick, died May 18, 2008, at home. He was plan administrator at Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local No. 432, North Brunswick, for 29 years, retiring in 1978. He was a founding member and past president of North Brunswick Volunteer Fire Company No. 3. He was predeceased by two brothers, Harry Criss and John J. "Jack" Criss; and a sister, Evelyn O'Hare. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Eileen LaForge Criss; three daughters and two sonsin law, Maureen A. Schmitt of South Brunswick, Deborah and John Bonura of North Brunswick, and Eileen A. and Daniel Cerullo of Toms River; a brother and sister-inlaw, Arthur and Ann Marie Criss of Toms River; a sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Louis Ruperto of Toms River; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be May 22 at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine of Canterbury Roman Catholic Church, Kendall Park section of South Brunswick. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Arrangements are by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.Memorial donations may be made to North Brunswick Volunteer Fire Company No. 3, 1470 Cozzens Lane, North Brunswick, NJ 08902.
