Thanks to supporters of Stamp Out Hunger
One full truckload of food was brought into the South Brunswick Food Pantry May 12 after a very successful Stamp Out Hunger campaign was held by the Kendall Park Post Office. We would like to thank all of the letter carriers who on top of their busy day stopped to pick up all of the food left by the many families. I have no doubt that more than several trips were made back and forth to the post office throughout the day. We also would like to thank all of the families that donated food, as well as the four public works employees who picked up the food at the post office.

We had 11 volunteers helping us throughout the day sort all of the food and get it put away in the pantry. Thank you for your tireless efforts.

The South Brunswick Food Pantry is located downstairs in the municipal building. We ask all of you to remember that we need donations all year long, and if you can find it in your hearts to make a purchase of sale items every so often when you shop, it helps those less fortunate than yourselves feed their families. With the current economic situations affecting us all, we need your help more than ever.

South Brunswick continues to be a community we all should be thankful to be a part of.
