MADD thanks South Brunswick businesses
As each of us travels through life, we are sometimes fortunate enough to come across caring, giving and dedicated people who thrive on helping to make this world a better place. Mothers Against Drunk Driving New Jersey (MADD NJ) is privileged in that we have had the benefit of working with many selfless, devoted people who strongly support the MADD mission to eliminate drunk driving, support the victims we serve and prevent underage drinking.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank a very special group of individuals who fit that description. On May 4, For Pete's Sake Hair Salon in the South Brunswick Square Mall held a cut-a-thon on behalf of MADD NJ. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised during the event were donated to us. What the public was not aware of perhaps is the fact that all of the people working at the hair salon that day donated their time to the event. There truly are not sufficient words to thank Tara F., Laura, Jen K., Courtney, Marina, Pam, Voula, Jaimie, Tara T., Tammy, Danielle, Nicole, Stephanie and Gina for their hard work. A very special thank you goes to Donna for coordinating the event with me and to Lori for her generosity, enthusiasm and support of Mothers Against Drunk Driving by hosting the event.

In addition, Hawaiian Bronze Tanning Salon in the South Brunswick Square Mall was extremely generous to Mothers Against Drunk Driving New Jersey as well in that they donated 10 percent of their gross proceeds from May 2-4. The hard work and dedication to the MADD mission by Amanda, Autumn, Holly, Dionna, Alma, Mia, Chris Jr., Nicole and especially Chris for his tireless effort and dedication to making the event a success is greatly appreciated.

For anyone needing victim services or if you would like more information about Mothers Against Drunk Driving as well as to inquire about volunteer opportunities, please contact us at (609) 585-7233.

Together we do make a difference.
