Community thanked for donor support
It's always great to see our numbers climb, heading toward the magic land of 200 donors. We've been there before … when our town was only half its current size. And we look forward to visiting there again!

We'd like to thank those 147 friends and neighbors who did take time to be part of our blood donor drive on April 26. We appreciate them giving us part of their spring day. Much-needed blood - 130 pints - was collected. We're hopeful you'll join us July 13 at Congregation B'nai Tikvah, Finnegan's Lane, North Brunswick.

We also want to thank those who helped us with this drive: all the volunteers who put up billboards and posters, handled the registration of donors, and feeding the staff. We also appreciate teenagers Maggie Boyle, Justin Cordes, Paul Gramieri, Ryan Polny, Tyann Sells and Shana Samuels - who shared duties at the refreshment and child-care areas. We're grateful for support from local businesses: Bagel Time & Deli, Beiler's Fresh Meats, McCaffrey's, Pierre's Bakery, ShopRite, Super Stop & Shop, Tastee SubShoppe II, and Theo's Family Restaurant.

If you'd like to join our committee and/or lend a helping hand with our coming blood donor drives, please call me at (732) 297-3198.
