Joan Marie Blankenship

Mrs. Blankenship, 75, of North Brunswick, diedApril 3, 2008, at home. She was supervisor of medical transcription at Hospital Center of Orange, retiring in 1975. She was predeceased by a son, Mark Blankenship Sr. in 1995; and a sister,MonicaWheeler in 1961. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Petren of Helmetta; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Charles D. Mc Glothin of North Brunswick, and George and Andrea Blankenship of Foster City, Calif.; her stepmother, Elinor Wheeler of Toms River; a sister, Helen B. Olsen of Toms River; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Debbie Wheeler of Waverly, N.Y.; and a grandson.AMass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, Toms River. Interment followed at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River. Arrangements were by Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, Toms River.
