Suspects sought in station robbery

SOUTH BRUNSWICK - Police are searching for two men who may have robbed a Valero gas station at gunpoint early Thursday morning, according to a statement made by Sgt. James Stoddard.

An employee at the gas station, located on Route 1, said he was approached by two men wearing scarves covering their faces, one of whom was carrying a gun. They demanded cash from him and stole money from the register and safe, according to police.

They were described as black males, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build.

Call Detective John Klemas at (732) 329-4000, ext. 7475, with any information.
