Pa. man faces weapons, drug charges

NORTH BRUNSWICK - A Pennsylvania man stopped by police last week was found with two guns, bullets and six knives in his vehicle, according to North Brunswick Police Lt. Roger Reinson.

Robert LaBelle, 40, of Blairsville, Pa, was arrested around 3 a.m. on March 5, according to police. He was pulled over at the intersection of Route 1 south and Elizabeth Street because of a headlight that was out.

Police said they found a 40-caliber and a 380-caliber gun, hollow-tipped bullets that are illegal for residents to possess and six knives. He was charged with DWI, two counts of handgun possession, possession of controlled dangerous substances (steroids), possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of other weapons (knives).

Bail was set at $150,000, no 10 percent.
