Programs offered at S. Brunswick senior center

The South Brunswick Senior Center and Health Department will offer a sixweek series for diabetics or pre-diabetics Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning March 18. Participants will receive a pedometer and glucometer.

"The Philosophy of Ethics" led by Bill Roufberg will be held for six Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to noon beginning March 19. Topics include definitions, schools of ethics, ethics and economics, and ethics and science and medicine. The cost is $20.

South Brunswick High School, 750 Ridge Road, will welcome seniors to a meal of soup and salad followed by the district's "Strings Festival" April 3 at 5:30 p.m. The festival will feature fifth-graders from each elementary school, members of the Crossroads North and South symphonic strings groups, and the South Brunswick High School chamber orchestra. The senior center has limited transportation for seniors. Sign-up must be done by March 20 by calling the center.
