Park's 'Woodcock Walk' slated for March 14

Delaware & Raritan Canal State Park, 145 Mapleton Road, Kingston section of South Brunswick, will hold a "Woodcock Walk," March 14 at 6:30 p.m.

New Jersey Audubon volunteer Arlene Oley, Kingston, and D & R naturalist Stephanie Fox will lead the two-mile walk into the Mapleton Preserve to search out the sites and sounds of the woodcock. "Walk the Path to the Rockingham" will be March 29 at 9:30 a.m. A park historian will lead the tour to Kingston Canal House and Rockingham. A history/nature Earth Day walk will beApril 19 at 10 a.m. The two-mile walk will be from the park office to the canal towpath and the Kingston Canal House.
