Margaret F. Hornacek Smykaj

Mrs. Smykaj, 92, of theMonmouth Junction section of South Brunswick, died Jan. 17, 2008, at University Medical Center at Princeton. Born in Dunellen, she resided in South River prior to relocating to Monmouth Junction more than 30 years ago. She was a seamstress for more than 15 years at Wilshire Coat Company, South River, retiring in 1977. She was a communicant of and member of the Altar Rosary Society at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Roman Catholic Church, South River. She was a member of both the South Brunswick and East Brunswick Seniors. She was predeceased by her husband Casimer in 1996. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol A. and John J. Baker of Marco Island, Fla., and Patricia E. and William Michalski of East Brunswick; five grandsons; and four greatgrandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St.Mary's Church. Interment was at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Brunswick. Arrangements were by Brunswick Memorial Funeral Home, East Brunswick.
