James Swedrek

Mr. Swedrek, 65, of Laceyville, Pa., died Jan. 9, 2008, at Troy (Pa.) Community Hospital. He was raised in the South River area, prior to relocating to Laceyville. He was a landlord and owned several homes throughout northeastern Pennsylvania.He served with theU.S.ArmyNational Guard, Fort Dix, from1964-66.He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and antique auctions throughout Pennsylvania. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Alberta Smith Yuhas and John Yuhas, both of East Brunswick; his wife of 30 years, Selina "Sue" M. D'Costa Swedrek; a stepson Kevin Kidney and his wife Joan of Toms River; two stepdaughters, Selina "Ena" Kidney of Jamesburg, and Margaret "Peggy" Shivey of South Brunswick; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Frank Galganski of East Brunswick; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Interment was at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Arrangements were by The Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.
