The people of New Jersey deserve much better
Iam so very upset when I read what our Legislature is doing, and not, regarding the state of the state of New Jersey, I must share.

Recently I read that "it's only a matter of time before the (bird flu) makes its way to North America." Shouldn't our Legislature be battling to close the borders, identify who is here and test the newcomers for diseases? Or are we hoping it will present another reason to pump the population with drugs that may come from God knows where and contain God knows what that may or may not be effective but will cost the taxpayers and enrich the drug companies? We already have TB and E. coli movin' on up.

Before the holidays, you voted to add nine more shots (including pneumonia and influenza) to the 26 already received by our innocent, unsuspecting children. Why? Is there an epidemic?

We are informed that autism is a serious (epidemic?) concern (one of 150 children nationwide, one in 10 males in New Jersey). The Legislature is very quiet on this. The parents of these children aren't. Many make some startling conclusions: the shots. The mercury and lead and heaven knows what other enhancements they contain is shocking.

You almost got away with a bond issue to legitimize embryonic stem cell research by omitting the word, which clearly has a moral component, and, it turns out, is not essential to research.

You just spent a week praising a bunch of retirees and transfers in the Legislature - most of whom are enriched and well ridden of. When I retired, my colleagues took me to lunch, after which we returned to work. Try that. And now you are apologizing for the behavior of state residents 100-300 years ago to the air. Shouldn't you be apologizing for your own behavior? None of the

above could pass a smell test.

Stop playing God, doctor and nanny. Crawl out of that cocoon that insulates you from hubris, financial houses, unions, college know-it-alls and drug companies. New Jersey is the laughingstock of the nation for its corruption.

The people of New Jersey deserve much better than what it is receiving, and I am sure you are capable of serving better, or I wouldn't waste my time.
