Jamesburg man dies in motor vehicle accident

SOUTH BRUNSWICK - A 39-yearold Jamesburg man was killed early Saturday morning after he lost control of his car on a curve on the roadway and struck a tree.

Thomas Sohl's 2000 Nissan flipped over on Deans Rhode Hall Road, near Fresh Ponds Road, after hitting the tree around 12:50 a.m. It is believed that alcohol played a part in the accident, according to police.

"We talked to some individuals and traced back his steps beforehand, and it's believed alcohol played a part," said Detective Jim Ryan.

The South Brunswick Police Department Traffic Safety Bureau is investigating the accident.
