Director clarifies North Brunswick park permit issue
In regard to the park permit issue and the pick-up games, I would like to provide clarification. The Park Ranger Program provides safety and security to township parks and its users. A park permit is established to reserve a field to help eliminate conflicts for scheduling purposes. One of the Park Rangers' protocols is to inquire if the group using a facility or park/field has a permit.

In regard to the new North Brunswick Community Park to foster growth and proper maintenance of the new fields, Park Rangers are directing pick-up games and unscheduled activities to the front 11.5 acres to allow leisure recreation activities in that area.

At all times we encourage residents to use our park system and if there are any questions or concerns the community can contact the staff at the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services at (732) 247-0922, ext 475.

Lou Ann Benson Director of Parks, Recreation and

Community Services Township of North Brunswick
