Bullet holes found in two Kendall Park cars SOUTH BRUNSWICK - Bullet holes were found in two cars on Cambridge Road and Kendall Road in Kendall Park on the morning of Nov. 29, according to South Brunswick Police Detective James Ryan. Police received a call at 12:50 a.m. from a Cambridge Road resident who heard gunshots. Police responded, but found no one in the area. Police questioning found that at least six people heard the gunshots. Between 7 and 8:30 a.m., the owners of the vehicles discovered that their cars had been shot through. "We believe the suspects, and we believe it was more than one [person who] drove around and shot at vehicles as they drove," Ryan said. "This was obviously dangerous. The bullet could have gone anywhere." Ryan mentioned that there was a couple with small children at a nearby home during the shooting. There is no evidence of this being gangrelated. Ryan said it is believed to be a random act of people fooling around with a gun and criminally using it. The suspects apparently used a large caliber weapon, possibly a revolver, but police are awaiting ballistics tests to confirm that. |
