'Sounds of Chamber Music' slated for Dec. 2

Mason Gross Center for Performing Arts will present "The Sounds of Chamber Music," Dec. 2 at 2 p.m. at Nicholas Music Center, 85 George St., New Brunswick.

The Voorhees Choir Candlelight Concert will be Dec. 2 at 5 p.m. at Voorhees Chapel, 5 Chapel Drive, New Brunswick. The all-female 70-voice choir will perform carols and classics.

The Rutgers Jazz Chamber Ensemble will perform Dec. 3 and 5 at 8 p.m. at Schare Recital Hall, 81 George St., New Brunswick.

The Rutgers Symphony Band will be in concert Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. at Nicholas Music Center, 85 George St., New Brunswick.

Rutgers Wind Ensemble will perform Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. at Nicholas Music Center.

The Rutgers Symphony Orchestra will present "A 20th Century Affair," Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. at Nicholas Music Center. Cost is $25; $20 for seniors and Rutgers alumni and employees; and $15 for students.

Rutgers Kirkpatrick Choir and Glee Club will present "Christmas in Carol and Song," Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., and Dec. 9 at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Kirkpatrick Chapel, 81 Somerset Street, New Brunswick. The two top Rutgers choirs will perform a traditional format of lessons and carols. Cost is $20; $15 for seniors and Rutgers alumni and employees; and $10 for students.
