Juvenile shot in drive-by

NORTH BRUNSWICK - A 15-yearold township resident was shot once in the abdomen while walking in New Brunswick on Nov. 4.

At around 8:12 p.m., the male juvenile was at the intersection of Lufberry Avenue and Wright Place with a few other people when a silver Toyota Corolla drove by, firing several shots, according to New Brunswick Police Sgt. Richard Rowe. There were multiple individuals reported in the vehicle but no further description is known at this time. Police do not know if the incident was gang related.

The victim was treated at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick and was listed in stable condition.

There is no further information at this time.
