Harold M. Bruskin Mr. Bruskin, 90, of Highland Park, died Oct. 26, 2007, at Central New Jersey Jewish Home for the Aged, Somerset. He was born in New Brunswick. He was involved in the real estate and insurance business with his father, Philip Bruskin, following his return from World War II. He was one of the first men drafted into the U.S. Army before the outbreak of World War II, and received the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Croix de' Service Militaries Voluntaries 3em class, and several other citations. He was a former president of both Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, New Brunswick, and the Jewish Federation of Raritan Valley. He was a former tax assessor for the Borough of Highland Park, and treasurer of Jewish Social Services, Highland Park. He was predeceased by his wife of more than 60 years, Bernice Kaden Bruskin in 2007. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Fredda and Sincha Ronen of Savyon, Israel, and Jane and Philip Cantor of North Brunswick; a son and daughter-in-law, Lawrence and Nancy Bruskin of South Brunswick; a sister, Marion Mandell of Palo Alto, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Anshe Emeth Temple. Burial was at Elmwood Cemetery, North Brunswick. Arrangements were by Quackenboss Funeral Home, New Brunswick.
