Musica Raritana concerts slated for Oct. 26, 27

Voorhees Chapel, 5 Chapel Drive behind the Mason Gross Performing Arts Center, 85 George St., New Brunswick, will host a free chamber concert by select members of Musica Raritana Oct. 26 at noon. No tickets are required.

The group will also present "Masters of the Early Classical Symphony" Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. at Nicholas Music Center at Mason Gross.

Musica Raritana is a period instrument orchestra consisting of student musicians at Mason Gross. It will perform never-recorded 18th-century symphonies, and be joined by a professional violinist and oboist. Tickets are $10 for students with valid ID and $15 for all others.
