Talk on 'Diabetes and Mental Illness' Nov. 1

South Asian Mental Health Awareness in Jersey, (SAMHAJ) will presents the workshop "Diabetes and Mental Illness - The Importance of a Holistic View," Nov. 1 from 7-9 p.m. at NAMI New Jersey, 1562 Route 130, North Brunswick.

The free workshop will be led by Meena Murthy, M.D., director of diabetes care and control center at Saint Peter's University Hospital. She will discuss diabetes prevention and management, specifically for individuals with a mental illness.
