Salesman charged with fraud

SOUTH BRUNSWICK - A 23-yearold car salesman was arrested and charged with identity theft and credit card fraud Oct. 10, according to a press release from the South Brunswick Police Department.

Brandi Vasilijevic, who worked at Brad Benson Hyundai on Route 1, allegedly used a customer's information to open credit cards in his own name.

The victim bought a car from the dealership in July and in August discovered that Vasilijevic was listed on her Discover credit card account. It was also discovered that another credit application was filed with Bank of America. He had been able to input all the victim's information because it was given to the dealership while the car was being purchased.

Vasilijevic was released on $2,500 bail after being processed.
