'Halloween Walk to Cure Diabetes' Oct. 28

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) will hold its annual "Halloween Walk to Cure Diabetes," Oct. 28 at Cook College, Route 1, New Brunswick. Registration begins at 9 a.m.

The walk draws several participants in costume, and features entertainment, food, a moon bounce and a pumpkin patch. The chapter's goal is to raise more than $378,000 for research to find a cure for diabetes and its complications.
