Watershed Partnership to meet Aug. 21

The Lawrence Brook Watershed Partnership will hold its next meeting Aug. 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the Milltown Senior Center, 60 Violet Terrace.

Guest speaker John A. Miller will present "Planning for Floods and Local Mitigation." He is the New Jersey president of American Waters Resources Association & Region I, and director and board member of the Association of State Floodplain Managers. Refreshments will be served.

The nonprofit Partnership has environmental interests in East Brunswick, North Brunswick, South Brunswick, Milltown and New Brunswick.
