GOP candidates hold campaign kickoff event

The Middlesex County Republican Organization (MCRO) will present a campaign kickoff on Aug. 22 at 6 p.m. County Board of Chosen Freeholders candidates Geoffrey Champion, Daniel Kerwin and John Rucki will be present, along with sheriff candidate Robert Oras and surrogate candidate Lynda Woods Cleary.

The event will be held at the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh, 15 Oak St., Old Bridge. Special guest speakers are state Assemblyman Sam Thompson (R-13) and MCRO Chairman Joseph P. Leo.
