Obituaries John T. Marcason Mr. Marcason, 94, of East Brunswick, formerly of South River, died July 3, 2007, in Francis E. Parker Memorial Home, Piscataway. Prior to his retirement in 1965, he was a woodshop and mechanical-drawing teacher and the head of the fine arts department at Metuchen High School, where he worked for 42 years. During World War II, he worked at Raritan Arsenal, Edison. He and his late wife, Mary, taught several local adult-education ballroom-dancing classes. Surviving is a daughter, Karen Marcason of North Brunswick. A Mass was offered at St. Mary's Church, South River. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Mary A. Dorman Krygier Mrs. Krygier of East Brunswick died July 13, 2007. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided in North Jersey, Helmetta, South Brunswick, and Monroe prior to relocating to East Brunswick. She was a retired dining hall supervisor at the New Jersey State Home for Boys. She was a former member of the South Brunswick Senior Center, the Brooklyn Club, and Emerald Society at Rossmoor, Monroe Township. She was predeceased by her husband, Zygmunt Krygier in 1990; and a daughter, Patricia Ploss in 1991. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Jerry Sarno; two sons and a daughter-in-law, James and Kathy Krygier, and Stephen Krygier; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Dolly Dorman; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Helmetta. Interment was at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Monroe Township. Arrangements were by Brunswick Memorial Funeral Home, East Brunswick.
George E. Oliver Mr. Oliver, 78, Port St. Lucie, Fla., and formerly North Brunswick, died July 9, 2007, at home. Born in Washington, D.C., he resided in North Brunswick prior to relocating to Port St. Lucie 16 years ago. He was an assistant department head for the radioisotope division at E.R. Squibb & Sons, New Brunswick, for 49 years, retiring in 1989. He served with the U.S. navy during World War II. He was an avid golfer, and enjoyed fishing. He was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret Stryker Oliver in 1990. He is survived by his wife, Janet Owen Oliver; two daughters, Brenda Maehr of Somerset, and Bonnie Franzblau of Manalapan; two sisters, Virginia Christian of Chula Vista, Calif., and Marion Wind of Virginia Beach, Va.; a brother, Eddie Oliver of Port St. Lucie; and seven grandchildren. Interment was at Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
Anthony J. Pistilli Jr. Mr. Pistilli, 40, of North Brunswick, died July 9, 2007, at home. Born in Hoboken, he resided in Sayreville prior to relocating to North Brunswick four years ago. He was a production manager at MHI cosmetics, Teterboro, the past two years. He served with the U.S. Army during the Persian Gulf conflict. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 365, Fairview. He was predeceased by a sister, Angela Conti in 1996. He is survived by his wife, Gabriela; two sons, Anthony and Michael; a daughter, Anabella; his parents, Song-Ye and Anthony Pistilli of the Parlin section of Sayreville; a brother and sister-in-law, Jaime and Georgia Pistilli of Dover, N.H.; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Bernadette's Roman Catholic Church, Parlin. Interment was at Forest Green Memorial Park, Marlboro. Arrangements were by Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge.
Elizabeth Ferris Kazoun Mrs. Kazoun, 90, of Monroe, formerly of North Brunswick, died July 14, 2007, in Monroe. Her husband, Fahd Kazoun, died in 1983. Surviving are a daughter, Jacqueline Nesser of Monroe; four sons, Nick Kazoun of Netcong, Tony Kazoun of North Caldwell, James Kazoun of Caldwell and Fred Kazoun of the Toms River section of Dover; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church, New Brunswick. Interment was in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
