The Rutgers men's basketball program has released its 2007 summer camp dates. The Scarlet Knights will host a variety of camps, including a Day Camp, an Overnight Individual Camp, Father/Son Weekend, an Evening Team Camp, as well as an Overnight Team Camp. Each camp will be directed by head coach Fred Hill and the Scarlet Knights' coaching staff.

All camps will take place at the Rutgers Athletic Center on five regulation-size courts.

The Day Camp features two sessions (June 25-29 and July 30-Aug. 3) and will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for boys entering second through ninth grade. Each player will receive a camp T-shirt, camp ball and a self-improvement workout. Each day will encompass basketball drills, games, lectures and individual instruction. Early arrivals and late dismissals are available and campers bring their own lunch. The cost is $225 per session.

The Overnight Individual Skills Camp will have a single session running from Sunday, July 8, to Wednesday, July 11. Campers entering the sixth through 12th grade will join the Rutgers coaching staff in four days of intense skill development. The cost is $375 per session and camp tuition includes three nights' lodging, all meals, instruction, a jersey and a comprehensive drill booklet.

The Evening Team Camp (June 24-28) will take place from 6-10 p.m. all five nights. Each team will play two games per night for a total of 10 games, and game officials will be used for all contests. Every participant will receive a camp T-shirt. The cost per team is $525.

The Overnight Team Camp (June 29-July 1 and July 27-29) gives individuals the chance to compete against some of the top teams in the region. There will be two divisions (varsity and subvarsity) and each team will play seven games. Guest speakers will provide lectures on skill development as well as strength and conditioning. The cost is $215 per player ($145 for commuters) with a minimum of eight players per team.
