May E. Seaboldt Williams

Mrs. Williams, 60, of North Brunswick, died June 4, 2007, at home. Born in New Brunswick, she resided in Piscataway prior to relocating to North Brunswick in 1985. She was a lab technician at Bristol-Myers Squibb, New Brunswick, for 30 years, retiring in 2005. She is survived by a son, Robert L. Williams Jr. of Monroe Township; four brothers, Michael Seaboldt of South Carolina, Ernest Seaboldt of Edison, Glen Seaboldt of Highland Park, and George Seaboldt of Piscataway; and a sister, Doris Devlin of Sayreville. Burial was at Forest Green Park Cemetery, Marlboro. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.

Edna E. Chesner Behr

Mrs. Behr, 98, of North Brunswick, died June 15, 2007, at Bridgeway Care Center, Bridgewater. Born in Buffalo, N.Y., she resided in Somerset prior to relocating to North Brunswick in 1973. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Brunswick, and the church's Women's Circle. She as predeceased by her husband, George in 1993. She is survived by a brother, Walter Chesner of Middlebush; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick. memorial donations may be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church, Kirkpatrick and New Streets, New Brunswick 08901.

Stephen J. Linder

Mr. Linder, 83, of Milltown, formerly of North Brunswick, died June 15, 2007, in Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills section of Pemberton The founder and owner of Linder Trucking, North Brunswick, he also operated the family farm in East Brunswick for many years. He and his late son, Kurt L. Linder, founded Progressive Automotive Inc., North Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Marie Jurkiewicz Linder; two daughters, Cynthia Linder of North Brunswick and Susan Linder of Milltown; a sister, Mary McCormick of Milltown; and a sister-in-law, Eva Jurkiewicz of Staten Island, N.Y. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Milltown. Interment was in St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick.

Lt. Col. Sherwood W. Franklin

Mr. Franklin,80, of North Brunswick, died June 8, 2007, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Chicago, he resided in North Brunswick since 1970. He was a facilities engineer at the Veteran's Administration, Somerville. Prior to that, he was a Lt. Col. in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for 22 years during the Korean and Vietnam Wars, retiring in 1970. He was a communicant of St. Augustine of Canterbury Roman Catholic Church, Kendall Park section of South Brunswick. He was active in the Virginia Military Institute Alumni Association. He enjoyed playing the clarinet and saxophone. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Geraldine Ryssen Franklin; a son, William Franklin of Edison; seven daughters, Catherine Roberts of Oriental, N.C.; Patricia McNeil of North Brunswick; Dianne Franklin of Lorton, Va.; Geraldine M. Franklin of Robbinsville; Maryanne Kettenburg of Bangor, Pa.; Lynda Talerico of Toms River; and Jennifer Christensen of Hampton; 17 grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Burial was at Arlington (Va.) National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
