St. Thomas More Society dinner June 21

The Diocese of Metuchen St. Thomas More Society will host its second annual dinner June 21 at 6:30 p.m. at Pierre's, 583 Georges Road, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Joseph Koterski, S.J., associate professor and chair of the philosophy department at Fordham University. He will discuss "St. Thomas More's 'Utopia' - A Lesson in the Nonnegotiable Principles of Christian Political Thought." He has written and lectured extensively about St. Thomas More, and is the recipient of Fordham's Dean's Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching and the Graduate Teacher of the Year Award.

'Spiritual Purpose of Dreams' June 30

South Brunswick Public Library will host "The Spiritual Purpose of Dreams" June 30 from 1-2 p.m. The free presentation will explore the purpose of dreams, why individuals have dreams, what dreams mean, and how to use the messages in dreams to improve outer life. There will also be an exercise to help attendees enrich spiritual life. The program is presented by the Satsang Society of New Jersey Inc.
