N.B. honors May scholar

Matthew Larkin
NORTH BRUNSWICK - Matthew Larkin was honored as the month's Scholar-Athlete-Artist Award recipient at the Township Council meeting on May 21. The program was created to honor students who excel in academics, athletics and/or the arts.

Class: sophomore at North Brunswick Township High School

Academics: favorite subject is history; hopes to have a career in law or politics

Athletics: lacrosse player in North Brunswick for over five years; two-year member of the high school lacrosse team; member of the high school varsity dive team for two years; player and referee in the township soccer organization for over six years

Hobbies: basketball, snowboarding, roller coasters

The Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services is accepting nominations for the program. Coaches, teachers and parents of children in grades 3-12 can submit their recommendations to the DPRCS Office at 710 Hermann Road or to LBenson@northbrunswickonline.com.

Nominations must be in writing, no longer than one page, and a copy of the student's most recent report card must be attached.
