The Dayton Titans U10 baseball team faced the U11 Montgomery Green Machine in a CJBL contest, and claimed a 14-3 mercy rule victory. Jack Spillane recorded the win for the Titans, with relief help from Jimmy Matt and Matt Von Roemer. The Titans' potent hitting attack was led by Vic Dudka, Ethan Collins and Chucky LaSala, each contributing three RBIs. In the second game of the day, the Titans faced the U10 New Jersey Wolfpack in USABL league play, winning a 20-2 decision. Collins nailed the win for the Titans, and Kyle Adams, Trevor Risdon and Colby Redfield all helped support a blistering hitting attack.

The United States Bowling Congress Coaching will hold a Bronze level coaching certification conference June 14-16 at Brunswick Zone Carolier, 790 Route 1 in North Brunswick.

Those who attend this 2 1/2-day seminar - which begins the evening of Thursday, June 14, with registration and brief classroom activities - will receive training to prepare them to coach intermediate-level bowlers. The course will develop coaching skills in the four essential areas of bowling, including the physical game, lane play, equipment and the mental game. Videotaping, video analysis and instruction on giving lessons will be covered.
