NORTH BRUNSWICK - Aryana Paley was honored as the April Scholar-Athlete-Artist Award recipient at the Township Council meeting on Monday. The program was created to honor students who excel in academics, athletics and/or the arts.

Athletics: member of the basketball and soccer teams at Linwood; member of the township's U12 basketball team; member of the North Brunswick soccer travel team

Hobbies: jazz and ballet dancing; dirtbike riding; helping her peers; playing with her two cats and two dogs

The Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services is accepting nominations for the program. Coaches, teachers and parents of children in grades K-12 can submit their recommendations to the DPRCS Office at 710 Hermann Road or to LBenson@northbrunswick-online.com.

Nominations must be in writing, no longer than one page, and a copy of the student's most recent report card must be attached.
